Music at Stanford
Choir
Well done to Stanford Choir for performing so well at the Christmas Fair.
Rehearsals will start again after Christmas, new members always welcome.Choir practices are every Friday at 12 o'clock in Mrs. Groves classroom. For more information see Mrs. Brady.
Viola
Mrs. Brady teaches viola on a Wednesday afternoon to groups of children in Years 4, 5 and 6. 'It is great to have so many keen players this year!'
All the children in Year 4 get the chance to learn the viola for 1 year, as part of the government's Wider Opportunities Scheme.
Drum
Club
Mrs. S. Groves is running a Year 5 drum club for the children who learnt drums with her last year. She has 2 groups who have lessons once a fortnight.
